"Even the best designers produce successful products only if their designs solve the right problems..."

Services Set Us Apart

We use data to make informed strategic decisions that help you succeed. Early in the design process we compile your website analytics, your customer data, user testing evidence, journey intelligence, surveys, and various research methods to give us a clear picture, roadmap, and priorities that put your website users first and realize your vision.
Describing your target audience personas helps deepen our understanding of your user and motivations. This helps us to design user-centric websites that deliver more meaningful online experiences. Using empathy maps, user attitudes and behaviours can be illustrated to describe what your users say, do, think, and feel so your website can better relate to them.
We rely on user stories to describe your website’s features from the perspective of your customer. Written in an informal conversational style, high-level site features are simply captured on post-it notes or cards and offer us a natural and engaging way to qualify and share behaviour, perspectives, and user attitudes.
Before our UX designers create your website’s colourful, branded look and feel, they create hand drawn or software generated wireframes to show the base layout for the main website design elements. Prototypes are the next stage where we mock up the website and show you how your site will appear once it goes live.
The guiding principle for website or UX design may be summed up in one word, utility. Great website design means superior functionality. More than just your calling card, your website design can tell a story and move users along paths that align with their interests and needs. On the other hand, websites that don’t meet user expectations can alienate users and harm your brand.
Animation can have a practical role in user experience design. The key is to use motion and animations strategically and sparingly. Practical, unobtrusive animation and motion graphics can provide users with another level of communication and feedback. On the other hand, overdoing animation can be distracting to users and impose annoying and unnecessary barriers to communication.

Accessible design is good design.

Employment and Social Development Canada tells us that more than 6 million Canadians (that’s 22% of the population) live with some form of disability. Canadian federal and provincial governments have legislated for accessibility, and the private sector is catching up. We can provide you with an accessibility audit, bring your current site up to standard, or design your website to be fully WCAG Level 2 compliant – so no one is left out.
